The Hyve Capsule Hostel Amsterdam

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The Hyve Hostel. It exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, it is the best room you can get in Amsterdam for this price. The bathroom and toilet were very clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful — they kindly let me check in early around 13:30 at no extra charge.

The woman at the front desk is SO VERY SWEET, I think her name was Astrid. I checked in the 27th and the rooms are amazing and the bathrooms are CLEAN. Perfect for single female travelers.

Finishing first-class service and employees a lot and helping a day and it is a very comfortable place. I advise everyone to come to this hostel. You feel yourself in your home. The service of the staff is very beautiful and the price is very respectable.

I had a good stay overall. The hostel is very nice, with a comfortable lounge and secure lockers. Staff were excellent and very helpful, and housekeeping did a great job. Connectivity is great: Bus 21 reaches Amsterdam Centraal in ~25 min, and the airport in about 40 min.

Super price overall, and easy to get to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, with a decent array of shops nearby. Easy to get into Amsterdam on the tram as well. The bed was good and everything was nice. Shared bathroom with 4 showers and 4 loos — high quality all round. Would recommend it.

Great budget rooms, capsule style so nice clean comfortable bed. Shared sink, toilet and shower. Astrid, the blonde manager, is cheerful and helpful with lots of tips and insights on local attractions and transport links.

This hostel is great if you only have a backpack / small suitcase. We stayed for 2 nights and it was a very clean, modern and quiet budget hostel. One of the best I have stayed in — hostel feel with hostel prices. I would highly recommend.

Decent stay for a low price. The rooms are small but clean. You get a towel and shared bathrooms are equipped with toiletries and hair dryers. The bed is big and Wifi was fast. Near Amsterdam-Sloterdijk station — 15-20 min walk or a quick tram ride.

Warm welcoming face at reception. Checking in was very easy! Yes the rooms are small, but that's the whole point! The beds however are HUGE! Plenty of plug sockets, clean and comfortable. Would DEFINITELY stay again!

The Hyve Hostel is a modern and fun addition. The lobby is modern and nicely decorated. The rooms are intended only for sleeping — but for me, that is the purpose of staying in a hostel. They have both mixed and separate bathrooms, which is great if you're traveling with a partner.
